來澳洲將近一年半的時間
結束櫻桃場的工作後
帶著一顆好奇的心😉
來到了人人稱讚最美麗的島 - 塔斯馬尼亞
找到了一份穩定的時薪工 - Smartberries的維護工
一直以來都很排斥做時薪的工作(要求速度、時數長、壓力大....)
但這份工作 ，比我想像的還要好呢~👍
I have been living in Australia for one and a half year.
I worked at a cherry farm in central Victoria, after that I traveled to Tasmania, which is very well known for its beautiful nature.
I got a job as a maintanance in Smartberries with hourly rate.
To start of with didn't really like doing job when you get paid by hour.(being asked for quick speed、long working time、high pressure etc)
but then I realized this job was much better than I thought.👍
每天準時上下班(8個小時) + 周休二日
一天有兩次休息時間
第一次是休息時間20分鐘(有薪資)
第二次是午餐時間30分鐘(沒有薪資)
休息時可以躲在棚子下
要記得做好防曬
因為棚子上的布是完全阻擋不了紫外線的😨
We clock on and off everyday, and this is what we always did. We always had two days off every week.
Moreover, there are two breaks in a day.
One is for 20 minutes.(You will get pay.)
The other one is lunch time for 30 minutes. (You won't get pay.)
And you can have the rest underneath a tunnel.
Just remember to put on sunscreen because the tunnel won't protect you from the sun.😨
最重要的是
我遇到了很溫暖、人又好的supervisor
每天上下班都會給我們加油打氣
說我們是最棒的團隊 ☺️
The best thing is that I had a kind and warm supervisor in our team.
She cheers us up every morning and tells us we are the best.☺️
紅莓維護(Maintain Raspberry plant)
我們的工作就是綁繩子
有些區的紅莓長得特別健(猖)康(狂)
整株都垂到地板上了😂
First of all, our job is to tie the strings up.
Some plants grow up very well but messilly.
Whole plant would almost lie down on the ground.😂
我們就要想辦法把它們立起來
要讓紅莓能站的直直的
讓採果的人能採得比較輕鬆
Our job is to make them stand straight.
Then picker could pick fruit easily.
農場有提供手套和護目鏡
我們會露出手指頭
這樣比較容易綁繩
You would get gloves and eye protector here.
We would show our fingers while working with gloves so that we can tie the strings easily.
這邊我們都是綁活結
方便之後容易拆下
綁繩子的主要目的就是讓樹枝能靠著
不會東倒西歪
We make a knot or bridge to hold the Raspberry plant.
The main reason of tying is to keep the plant straight.
(總共會有六條線來支撐紅莓)
(There are six lines to hold plants)
(從下面數上來前兩排的繩子
我們會綁一個活結在需要固定樹枝的地方)
(The first and second lines from the bottom
We would make a knot at the place where we need to hold or fix the plants )
(中間三排會綁橋來讓樹枝靠著)
(We make a bridge to hold and fix the plants at the three lines in the middle.)
有時候會有可愛的小訪客在偷看(這裡有很多小袋鼠)😍
Sometimes, some cuties may pop up here.😍
藍莓維護(Maintain Blueberry plants)
紅莓的部分告一段落後
開始了我們吃藍莓之路
啊！不是啦！是剪枝之路~
農場會提供手套跟剪刀(要自己磨剪刀)
Next, we do pruning with blueberry plants
We would get gloves and secatrurs.
(I learned how to sharpen secatrurs by myself.)
來澳洲這麼久
第一次見到藍莓樹本人
也才知道有分這麼多品種
藍莓樹有矮的、也有高的
It was my first time to see the blueberries tree.
Then, I knew there are lots of different kind of blueberries.
Some blueberries trees are small.
And some are tall.
有的品種需要把有果實的部分剪掉
有的品種只需要把枯枝剪掉就好
每一種品種的修剪方式都不一樣
spervisor會教你
也會現場示範
Supervisor will teach and show you how to prune the branch.
Different kind of trees would be pruned by different way.
雖然這時候藍莓的季節已經結束了
但我們還是可以看到很多剩下來的藍莓
Although the blueberries season was over at that time,
we still could see lots of blueberries left.
未成熟的藍莓顏色好美呀!
The color of immature blueberry is beautiful.
還有比大拇指還大的藍莓
I found the blueberry which is bigger than thumb.
趁休息時間
我摘了一桶藍莓
During the break time.
I picked lots of blueberries.
不但可以打成藍莓汁、藍莓牛奶🥳
I made fresh blueberry juice and blueberry milk.
They were really yummy.🥳
也可以做成藍莓塔🤤
I also made blueberry tart.🤤
常常可以在藍莓的樹叢中發現鳥巢
You could often find many nest in the trees.
藍莓區一樣可以看到我們可愛的小訪客😍
The cutties pop up everywhere.😍
有一次，還看到了鴨嘴獸
但是他已經死掉了😭
I even saw the platypus but it was already dead.
Nobody knew why it was here.😭
因為一些個人因素
這趟塔斯之旅只有短短的兩個月
我還沒體會到塔斯之美就必須先離開了
真的很可惜🙈
希望未來有機會還能再回來看看讓我又愛又恨的Tasmania
I stayed here for only two months.
I have to leave for personal reasons, and I haven't visited lots of places yet.
Hope I would come back and know this island more.🥳
